The Known Nations has been exploring the surface of the MegaShard by airship for some 30 years, the edge of where they can reach slowly expanding with their improving technology. This map shows the extent of their exploration as well as some interesting features within their zone of exploration.
Way back when I first conceived of the world in the late 1990s, I had it (briefly) published as a tabletop RPG, and this was one of the maps included. It was hand-drawn on hex graph paper, so forgive some of the crudeness.
THE SHATTERED SKY takes place on the ruins of a shattered Dyson Sphere, on a surviving habitat many times the size of Earth. The explanations below assume a familiarity with the novel.
To give a proper sense of scale here, each hex is one Earth-span from flat to flat. An Earth-span is 40,000 km long, or about the size of Earth's circumference at the equator. The entire map of the Known Nations (see previous entry) fits neatly within a single hex.
The ZOE extends between 12 ro 20 Earth Spans from the KN, depending on which direction one goes. Borelea is the nation most heavily invested in Outland exploration, and the area that it faces (toward the North of the map) has received the most attention from Helistats. The nations least interested in Outland exploration, Fando and Rosstan, likewise have the least explored section of the Outlands facing them (toward the immediate east.) Hence the ZOE is a bit lopsided, instead of being a circle as one might expect.
The ZOE represents an area roughly a thousand times that of the entire surface of Earth. Yet it is also only about 3% of the total surface area of the Megashard.
Despite the KN's efforts, the ZOE has only been cursorily explored. The KN will be filling in the blanks on the map for decades, if not centuries, to come.
Features:
-- The Known Nations, aka the KN, is more or less in the center of the map.
-- The Forever River is one of four such colossal waterways on the Megashard, running for millions of miles from the birthing zone in the center of the shard to its edge. Each is roughly 90 degrees apart. Though called a river, the waterway is actually wider than any ocean on Earth for most of its course, and in many places spreads out an Earth-span or more in width.
-- The Forever River is known to host small clusters of trading kingdoms that spring up along its length. Usually none are more advanced than 12th Century Earth. The Far Sea, the major part of the Forever River closest to the KN, hosts a handful of these
-- The North Sea, X14, X12, and the River kingdom of Corinthia represents locations for advanced helistat bases the KN is intent on building within a decade.
-- X-sites are site of known Builder ruins. NBR sites are Non-Builder Ruins, remnants of civilizations that have risen and fallen in the 5 millennia since the Great Cataclysm.
-- Desolation's Heart is a vast radioactive desert. No one knows how it formed.
-- Mu and Hyboria are megacontinents within the Forever River that are isolated from the main lands of the Megashard. Rumors abound of strange creatures and civilizations to be found there, though in actuality the KN has ound nothing out of the ordinary of either.
-- The Boiler Lords are a steampunkish civilization whose main weapons are gigantic mobile steam-powered fighting vehicles commonly called Boilers. They are mostly nomadic and reign supreme over their territory as technologically-elevated despots. NBR 87 is thought to be the ruins of the civilization the birthed them, destroyed by one of their devastating wars. They are hostile to the KN.
-- Darlan is a small but advanced civilization with 20th Century level technology, including nuclear weapons. However, it is also extremely xenophobic and calcifyingly conservative. Contact with the KN has been very rocky.
-- NBR 117 is a civilization that had limited technology but very advanced nanotech matrix manipulation abilities, apparently much more advanced than the KN's. Evidence seems to indicate that their civilization was destroyed by a either Mage War or some unknown magic effect that ran wildly out of control, or both. Their entire former territory is a Weird, filled with mutated nanites that can very dangerously skew any type of nanotech magic.
-- Node Base Alpha is a small colony founded by the KN using a Teleport Node, some 45 Earth Spans away from the KN. Teleport Nodes exist throughout the Shards, but the system appears to be randomized, and being able to get back and forth to a single destination reliably is extremely difficult. Only three semi-stable destinations are known, and Node Base Alpha is one of them.

is making a navy wars d20 and has a map or well random genned that works and is sort of fitting races into it 13 different races and technicly kingdoms so kobold kingdom or well no nation they fit within others same with nezumi. then you have minor nations which are big enough to be classified but no full army like air land sea military. and the super powers which has full army.
