The "V" shaped part in the upper half of the module is actually rotating to produce artifical gravity by centrifugal force, the tilt depends actually on the moons gravity adding to the resulting overall gravity.
Sensitive persons might experience a certain feel of disorientation when turning rapidly inside the habitat sector.

The "Water" marked area is both a shield against radiation as well as a fail-safe method to extinguish fires - which leads to the puzzling fact that in the habitats all electronic equipment is by default constructed waterproof.
The water provides an even larger livingspace than the actual habitat, so that the kelp, crabs and fish living in the area actually can be used to add meat to the dish of the population of a habitat.
Above the water area is the raw material storage, which protects the habitat against direct or near meteorite impacts ( up to a degree ). The entire sector is devoid of air so that cracks from impacts have little to no effect on the habitats overall structural integrity.

The Hydroponics sectors are large corridors in which multitudes of plants grow, to clean waste water, refresh the air, to produce raw materials for the industrial sectors and - to produce food.

The External Hangar is completely disconnected and mostly autonomuous, having its own small hydroponics, making it mostly independant from the habitat.
The reason for this is to permit an extended quarantine if considered neccessary.
The Security Interlock is a separate section which can be flooded with fusion plasma or nuked in case of atomar, biological, chemical or orther hazards managing to pass through the Hangar section.

Likewise the end-stations of the interhabitat expressway can be flooded with fusion plasma in case a danger for the habitat enters through there.

The Fusion powerplants are backups in case the solar arrays on the surface do not provide sufficient power. Likewise, in case of extreme emergency, the reactor rooms provide a safe room for the population. The reactors can be used in dire emergency to also flood the entire habitat with plasma , sterilizing it, or, if worse comes to worse, melt the entire habitat into a pile of puddle
