Quick concept piece, based on some character commissions from the wonderful  merlin-the-bruce.

Patrolling the forest, Illiath and Jeremiah Taun are accosted by highwaymen, and since both 'Cubi prefer chopping attacks, the highwaymen seem likely to become shorter by a head . Given the harshness of life in Furrae and the bounty a decent outlaw head can fetch these days, I don't see either of them being inclined to show much mercy. (Daryil will not be pleased)

The forest backdrop was slapped together fairly quickly, I hope it doesn't detract too much from Merlin's character art.
