Sort of surprising this is the first time I've drawn Herut dressed like a pirate. Course those pistols gave be a bit of a headache for the hand positioning. I don't normally draw guns.
This also happens to be an example of what my colored sketches look like. They're essentially flats. The difference is, instead of creating a fresh layer of clean, smooth line-art, I erase away most of the messy parts of the sketch and redrawn them cleaned up on the same layer. So it's kind of like combining the two.
I wanted to upload an example of this cause I'm thinking of offering colored sketches / flats during a livestream in the very near future.
