Whoo! Picture for my friend Flightline for knowing what a Gar was. ;) Hehe. And just thought was a cute idea, the poor guy hasn't gotten to fly much lately. Tried new method of coloring too just using hard round brushes instead of my usual airbrush stuff. Came out interesting enough I guess.

heh i love how cute and adventurous he looks. He obviously looks like he is having fun and you convey that really nicely with his facial expression and his body language. His paws are really very nicely articulated which I really respect. Really nice work on his legs as well
I really like his eyes and body. the tail seems really overly large and floofy but that might be the character's design.

keep in mind then that muzzle width can denote species as well: wolves have in general broader muzzle then foxes while coyote muzzles are in between. Dogs it can vary. so that might help here as his muzzle is somewhat thin. i think it works for him here because it gives him a sweet childlike appearance that works with the scene.

You should post some artwork too, nothing in your gallery. Hehe. Awwww I really tried having a broader muzzle on this one knowing was going to be a wolf. Hehe. But yeah muzzles are an issue for me too whenever I'm dealing with a non-fox. Felines forget, their muzzles are so whacky to me. Hehe.

I think you did a good job dude dont beat yourself up too much its hard making a broad muzzle in an image like this as I said it works here nicely.
