After I made the design for Myconids, they've become popular in my D&D, much to my surprise. One of my players in particular was coming up with novelty ideas for Myconid characters. I didn't particularly take 'Shitake the Samurai' seriously, but when he said "And you should make one called Deathcap", that's when I was inspired.
And so this is the result! Deathcap the Myconid Assassin. Myconids have a sort of cultural issue with weapons and armor that can't regenerate like they can, seeing them as ephemeral and not worth getting invested in, and it shows in her rusty but yet fearsomely functional sword. I intentionally modeled her with her head bowed forwards to obscure her face.
