Hey, it's cool. If I thought you meant harm by it, I would have been trolling it on dA. :p I didn't see it as being intentionally insulting to Mewtwo or anything, though given some of the people I troll I wouldn't put it past some of them.

It's like...I hate the idea of Mewtwo being stripped of his powers by force, but at the same time I do like the idea of him getting a proper childhood. Assuming that's the intent, then I'm actually all for it.

Sorry I felt like I was going to snap before -- I think that the idea of -permanent- negative character change freaked me out to the point that my "maim anyone that dares insult Mewtwo" tic kicked in. But in re-reading the fic, I don't think that it was meant to be permanent...his powers were being locked away for the time being, not removed entirely. Am I right in that?

I'm pretty sure it was intended to be temporary, like I said it's not my story, but I know the author and he gave me the impression that the story was free to interpretation and speculation for aftermath. But I'm pretty sure Mewtwo wasn't going to be permanently negatively changed. That's definately not the ending I would've wanted.

This seems to eerily parallel the idea you gave to me for our trade...
