I love the people who love and adore the works I commissioned... but sometimes your comments and notes really do creep my out. . . ;A;...
but seriously. I keep getting these kind of notes from strangers on FA and it's starting to get scary already :< I got this commission as an answer to people sending me those kind of shouts, comments or notes. (most often notes from furs I don't know)
so yeah... can you not do that please? thanks.

anytime my friend, and I do agree with that statement. I find that the more art you have the more you're known in the community makes you a bit of a target for creepers. I know that Beto is very well known in the babyfur community which has thus led to creepers.
I myself believe that i'm fairly known around the community which has led to me getting some creepy messages and comments. so I guess I kinda take it as a compliment when I get random creepers messaging me. xD
but I know that i'm not the only one who has suffered their fair share of creepers around here.

sadly that sorta thing seems to come with the territory... especially once you become really recognizable. you commission a lot of work, so you get more exposure than most. then factor in law of averages and you'll get a few creepers.
you do have one thing in your favor... you're not an artist. we tend to get all kinds of people who want us to do all sorts of things to them. sort of a "Me next" attitude. and i've seen my share of creepy notes...
so feeling a little unnerved by these comments is really only natural. some people just don't understand social boundaries. especially in the furry community, and even more so in the babyfur community.

I think there's a lot of confusion in the furry world about exactly what's appropriate to say. As a community we're very open about sexuality... which, overall, is good! However, there's a difference between being open about your sexuality and sending sexually explicit come-ons to a stranger. When folks forget that key distinction, the result is super creepy.
Sure, it's okay to send someone kinky notes... if you know them, if you've established a rapport, if they've said they're into it, if there's consent. But if not - if you skip past all those layers of respect - chances are they'll be upset. No matter how vanilla your note is, no matter how well-meaning you are. You've gotta have a social filter!

I've left comments on some artwork (nothing like trying to rp in comments, dear god) before but I've never gone to the extent of asking people to draw stuff for me, noting them, or trying to entice an RP out of someone. It's almost sad though sometimes if you look it up in the babyfur community the kind of comments some people leave.
