Another commission for the very awesome 
jonah, this time of his predatory killer dragon, Dax. Love this character, so, so much, and loved the chance to work in graphite!

Thanks FinalFlight, once again you've done an incredible job expressing a character's personality. I think Dax would approve.
Dax is a dragon. He's intelligent, charismatic and loves to be around people. Very elegant in the way he speaks and conducts himself, his manners are civilized, and he's very polite with an air of high culture. He'll praise you and make you think highly of yourself, and he's fun to be around. People are attracted to him for these reasons. However, you don't want to be alone with him: Dax is an extremely vicious man-eater. Dax will not hesitate to make a meal out of a person ("Do not expect well-being or long life. You shall have neither."), but not before savagely raping his victim first.
The commission is a police sketch of Dax. He is believed by authorities to have eaten well over 800 people.
He's a character from my writings. My dragons are descendants of Earth's early archosaurs. They evolved elsewhere for tens of millions of years, developing an intelligence like our own; and arriving back on Earth in 2025. The dragons walk biped, stand about 7 feet tall and weigh about 1,000 lbs. We dubbed them dragons, but they have no wings nor breath fire. Most dragons get along well with people and have learned to fit into society.
