So I decided I need to ride one for once. :-D
I just bought this today and I'm thrilled with it. 2006 Ford Mustang Convertible. Bit more expensive than I wanted, but it'll help build some much needed credit.
Drove the two hours home with the top down and it felt great. Gotta love Florida in February.

Ohhhh how perfect is this! Welcome to to the pony club is all I can say and really it is great to see you get an awesome ride like that and that is a nice one. Nearly have the same thing but mine is a black convertible and mine is a 2009 but still very sweet ride you got there!
Sweet looking car love that color.
My Mustang (A 99 GT Convertible 35th Aniversary Limited edition) came from Florida, now the poor things out in the garage parked for the winter shivering in the cold stupid Pennsylvania winter, though did having started to day to warm up and circulated the fluids to keep the seals from drying out and leaking. Had mine for 8 years now, got it when yours would have just been rolling off the assembly line. Once I get my truck paid off an 06 F-150 may start looking for a newer Mustang.

yeah wish I didn't have to drive my truck in the winter the previous owner kept it in a heated garage for the winter, several trucks like mine around here are already starting to rust out mine underneath looks nearly factory fresh.
the only rust on my mustang is the brackets from the front brakes, I had to replace both calipers which came with new brackets looked nice like the factory ones when I put them on now they're all rusty and crappy looking, some paint they used on them...,gonna pull em off this spring and get all cleaned up and repainted. want my pony looking good for years to come.

the number of those i have pulled out of the ditch this year in indiana... *smirks* keep it somewhere thawed. they are useless on snow/ice. for now i will stick with my hevily modified 98 dodge dakota... things a tank, and will drive through anything... what it wont go through it will go over.
If you know how to drive, and have winter tires mustangs are no worse than any other rear wheel drive vehicle in the winter, though the GT's I'd say tend to be a bit trickier, just don't over power you'll be fine. drove a V6 base model 96 in the winter it did right well, and ironically it was a Dakota that totaled it by rear ending it.
Also I doubt your Dakota does well on ice 4x4 will get you moving a bit better but its not gonna stop ya any faster.
