
Well we could call it the 4th test because the second and third from the same character failed.
Here we can see it in the same order the original pic from the MTG card, my modeling in 3DS, how it look once the printer finish and the last one in my hand to show the size and cleaned up from the extra material. The last steps is to make a base to keep him upright and painting.

Was the character done as all one mesh? I've done some 3d modeling, but making something as complex as a character for 3d printing seems tricky. Is it the same as modeling for animation or games, topology-wise? Or are the clothes and hair and character all one mesh?
That looks really awesome. If you print in abs plastic have you read about using acetone to smooth out? (Though the painted version of this looks smooth and you say you didn't sand it)
