no offence... but is it saposed to look like he has a penis the size of his leg? otherwise thats totaly amazing!!
(I must have missed it so pardon the ignorence) what are you using for a 3D Printer? is it a desktop one (I know they exist!) or are you going somewhere?

With a 3D printer... (and the appropriate program) I could print my own lego's and structures.... GENIOUSE!

It's a bit obvious it's only a lioncloth and to allow the 3D printer to print it. I got no choice but to make the fabrics thicker. And it's my 3D printer. I do all myself :P PM if you want more details

and just to say I found that original (Altered) pic today. so in my I didn't saw how the lioncloth was in the wind properly and mine simply ended like that.

what program do you use to model in? what 3d printer is that and how much was it? Did you print the model straight from the program you modeled it in as well?

It can be any program able to export in .OBJ in my case I've used 3DS and exported it in Zbrush and from there exported in STL to the printer program.

Was the character done as all one mesh? I've done some 3d modeling, but making something as complex as a character for 3d printing seems tricky. Is it the same as modeling for animation or games, topology-wise? Or are the clothes and hair and character all one mesh?
That looks really awesome. If you print in abs plastic have you read about using acetone to smooth out? (Though the painted version of this looks smooth and you say you didn't sand it)
I've looked into 3d printed things but man what you have here is really awesome!

nope it wasn't a single mesh and it's a bit sanded with a smooth sandpaper directly on the plastic and some on the 1st primer layer.

I really like the way you modeled the fabric of the cape, all flowing all cool. It looks awesome!

That 3D printer is one of the cheapest I've been able to find brand new. It work like a hot glue gun one layer at the time. That one taked around 8 hours and over 500 layers of 0.15 mm thick.
