Take a closer look at the full view and see how it is actually just blotches of color arranged to closely resemble a baneling. :)
No, really. Look at the blotches of color and spend a moment thinking what colors and what brushstrokes make that particular blotch up. Whatever conclusion you come to, apply similar color-brushstroke combination to your own work and see if you were right- if not, try again until results are satisfactory. In short, that's my method of practicing by studying the work of those whose talent I find unfair.

You'll eventually have some lightbulb realization moments and improve in leaps.

Sadly I have reached the point in my "career" that I become extremely downed if I fail with something and it doesn't help that about everything I do is considered a failure.
I do not believe that I can improve, only get worse. I see that it is dots now, but I still don't think I would be capable of accomplishing something even remotely close.
