Highlander L4 Support MG:
Developed by Cairnbower Manufacturing (CBM) during the Gigant War to improve upon the MG-11, this highly mobile light machine gun was designed with reliability in mind, using top-loading 30 round clips chambered for the Model 7 prevalent .308 round, semi-auto trigger pull fire, and a detachable barrel as an added measure to prevent overheating. It saw most of its deployment in the hills of the Yatil Mountains and along the moors of the Hoarfrost Sea and was developed at the Loch 4 production plant as one of several prospective platforms, ultimately being chosen, hence the name. Its performance was designed for cold regions, reducing its misfire chance by 1 in such environs. In hot regions its misfire chance increases by 1. This weapon is fitted with a bipod to support the preferred prone firing position which mitigates an inherent -2 penalty while firing. The bipod can be held like a grip to reduce the penalty by 1 while standing. Requires a Strength of 5 to carry.
