Today, on one of our very rare warm & sunny days, I decided to walk aboard the Albion Ferry and take a day-trip into Fort Langley. Living a hermit lifestyle in a cave has made my skin sensitive to sunlight, so I could feel myself starting to burn as that great ball of furious combustion shone down with its unfamiliar rays. I wanted a hat.. at first, I wanted a baseball cap, but after some time browsing through a marvelous hat store, I decided that I had grown out of those, and wanted to get something more mature and suiting to my overall look and personal style.

What'd I get? An Australian Outback hat. It's made from the same material as my heavy jacket - waxed green cotton, and it has a modest brown leather trim. It was affordable, and I think it looks good on me. My micro entourage agreed.
