This is Pisaurina mira. He's a Nursery Web Spider.
This big fellow was found by my neighbor.
He scares the absolute ever loving shit out of me. He's fast and he JUMPS (which was not expected by me, I've never handled this species before).
I did not get nearly as close as I normally do, so this shot isn't 1:1. Still....he's got a happy looking face despite his ornery disposition.

AHHH! frick! i hate the ones that JUMP!! >< but yeah.. he looks happy... happy to attack ya... XD also, i dont know if you -would- want to do it.. but i think it would also help to know how venomous some can be, just so we dont go and say, "oh hey! ive seen that spider before! ill go and hold it and AGGHH!! *dies* " xD
