A draw to adopt entry attempt- ya know something though? I'm so proud of this in the short amount of time it took that I could care less if I win or not! It'd be nice, but this dragged me a little further out of my slump and challenged me to try drawing something new~
And it's giftart for whoever DOES win :I
Yes the background is a little lack-luster, but I'm not drawing to adopt a pile of leaves in a cave(?). :I it woulda been improved if Adobe ideas hadn't gone haywire.

Here's the draw to adopt submission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12779821/
Best of luck to everyone who enters! <3
(Note: imma wait to link my entry to the actual contest until I see other entries because I hate going first. But I uploaded it anyway because DANG I'm proud ;w;"""

I'm really enjoying the varying thickness of the lines. I love that kind of stuff. Though in places such as the front paw, the heavy thickness looks a little out of place.
And the tail / booty butt separating line kinda clips over, it'd look a little more natural if it were a little rounded, connecting with the back paw.
Aw, I wish I could be a little more helpful.. I don't really know how to give responses.
Your effort kinda shows through here, and that's a rarity around here. I sense a solid ground. You should be proud of this lil' guy.
I wish you the best of luck on snaggin' him.
(keep doodlin')

Thank you so much, it's nice to get some helpful insight ^^
I wish I could do more about the lines, Adobe Ideas can cause so much trouble with that... But now I know exactly what the issue was I couldn't detect, and I'll play around with it!
Thank you- I always have trouble with backlegs, but can never tell what I'm doing wrong >_>" that helps ^^
You're plenty of help, and I appreciate it ^^ thank you again!

you're doing really well with shadows! next step is to add light. i'm not entirely familiar with digital, but i think creating a new layer to draw the light effect on in white and then setting its opacity to maybe...30%? might result in what looks like lighter areas.
if this were applied to the brindle on the back especially, it'd give it even more of a sense of dimension!
