:o sweet. What kinds? Are they all yours, or family's?
I've got two: an '87 YJ I've been driving and slowly rebuilding and beefing up for the past 10+ years, and an '08 Patriot I had custom built by Jeep! That one's my daily commuter.
My Dad's got a '97 TJ, Mom's got a 2000 TJ, and my sister's got a '98 TJ. We don't use them as much as we used to, but we've been out to Moab a few times, made a trip to the San Juan mountains for a week, and we use them on our mining claims in Leadville every summer. =3

They are off road use only, not street legal, and I wouldn't want to drive them on the street anyhow. (is a bit sketchy) There mainly ranch vehicles, for going hunting and getting around. I love my 47', I hope to restore it someday, but that's a lot of money, but for now its rugged, reliable, and simple, while the 80's and 90's are nice because of convince, better seats and better shifters, I always find myself driving the 47 due to just being a blast to drive, as well as it goes anywhere, with locking hubs it does not stop. I don't have any pictures of the other 3 but I got some of the Willy's if you wanna check it out.

Awesome! Yeah, I can understand why you'd not want to drive them on the road. My YJ's not technically street legal, but I still commuted in it for five years. XP It didn't bother me at all at the time, but now that I have the Patriot, that thing is pretty scary to take on the interstate... and it doesn't get up to the speed limit, soooo... yikes. Angry people.
If I had a Willy's, it would probably be my favorite, too! Although, I wouldn't get to drive it much since I moved to the city. XP Thanks for sharing the pics! (Also brown recluse. AAGGHHH.)
If you care to see, here's a very short progression of my YJ from when I got it in '03 (or '02?) up to last summer: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0r0jwsej.....gnd/-KZWLlOFe4
I don't drive it much during the winter, the other Jeep's got heated seats and ESP/traction control.

:P Maybe so, but my YJ is far from done... I've done the suspension, rebuilt the engine (4 times, it's a VERY long story), replaced the wiring harness, and parts of the braking, steering, and coolant system... It still needs a rear axle and lockers, and then I can START on cosmetic stuff... JEEP. Just Empty Every Pocket.
:P haha, well, I don't know nothin' 'bout no Chevys, but that's okay because I really need to be getting to bed now anyway! XP Thanks for the comments and sharing your pictures, I love meeting fellow Jeep/off-road enthusiasts and seeing pictures of their rigs!!! 'till next time!
I've got a couple of friends with XJs... and I don't care what anyone says, Cherokees are excellent off-roaders. However, I seem to run into a lot of XJ enthusiasts bashing on Wrangler owners. I actually see a lot more of this than the other way around, which never fails to surprise me. I think maybe XJ owners feel like Wrangler owners look down on them, and so they feel they have something to prove. They don't. They're both wonderfully equipped and capable vehicles. Quite frankly, I believe it has a lot more to do with the ability of the driver (and spotter, if using one) as well as the particular obstacle, than the vehicle itself.
