More of the massive Bancroft Mills complex.

I haven't seen boards painted up like this in a long time. This was something commonly done in places like the Bronx during the height of abandonment in the 1970's, where even curtains, flower boxes and pull shades were painted onto the boards, along with the fake window. I've only seen it done on a large scale here though once or twice before. Regardless they did a pretty good job of imitating the old wooden windows, and you can even see one without a board on the upper left for comparison.

"Yo dawg, we heard you like windows. So we painted windows onto the boards we put over your windows" (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
