Even though this isn't that great, I realize this is a pretty good place to post it.

I’ve had this character for awhile now, I just tend to forget to draw her. And really this is pretty sketchy and unrefined, I just wanted to get something done character wise while I still have some time. I’ll probably refine her design more sometime later, since I’m not really happy with how her fangs/mandibles look.
Her name is Vera, she’s based off the black house spider. She’s sarcastic and sometimes comes off harsh or mean do to her love for frightening people. Her exoskeleton is covered in a velvety ‘fur’ and is quite flexible, though still dense and hard to cut through. Her true fangs can be easily hidden in her mouth and she can slide them in and out whenever she wishes. Her venom can send a full groan person into extreme hallucinations and fits of nausea, and if not treated causes death. Though she’ll tend to click her fangs at people and joke about eating them, she usually never follows through with any threats, she just enjoys seeing the looks on people’s faces. Her missing arm is due to a severe injury that forced her to have it amputated. Before that she used to be part of a mercenary group, though that only lasted for a very short run.
