I hereby swear, on a ton of things that can be sweared upon, that this is my REAL VOICE on this clip. No audio tinkering whatsoever. What you hear is what went out of my mouth and into the mic. I was washing dishes and my throat was all clogged up and I tried to say something and it came out sounding like this and I ran my ass off upstairs to record a sample before it cleared up. Ain't mucus fun?

Dude, I went to the bank today to cash a check, and my throat was mucusy in just the right way that I was able to do the voice even *better* than here. So I get up to the teller and I'm all like "HelLO I hAvE tO CaSH a chECk!" and this lady nearby Jumps Back!! Her eyes got wide as heck! Oh, her reaction was priceless. She looked at me like I was covered in AIDS needles and collostomy bags. The teller totally took it in stride though. :)
Naw, I go through this every summer and winter. It runs its course like Swiss clockwork then I'm fine. I could totally talk normal at this point, I just happened to have the right amount of mucus to *make* it sound like this. Similar to how I can impersonate a tracheotomy voicebox pretty good most of the time.
