Doctor Fluxx was a brillant scientist who led to many major life-changing discovers such as AI, time travel and two-sided USB sticks.
The SUI (science united inc.) couldn't risk the loss of such a genius, so they did the most logic and respectful thing : throwing him into a preservation pod which drains his brain cells and conscience into the engine, so Fluxx could live forever and keep innovating.
His robotic limbs are more qualified for destruction, rampaging and unusualy physical efforts than science and research but it looks cooler.
