Now this is quite a rare site indeed for anyone outside Africa, but he is kinda hard to see from this angle but that is Datoga, one of our 4 African Painted Dogs we have at the center. Now we beleive he is considered the alpha of this pack and for now that is the case but for them it seems to rotate often.

So this is just a quick snapshot of him and we are one of only 12-13 institutions/private secturarys that does include zoos to have these animals and we do work with a man named Grege Rasmison who is a brit living in Zimbabwe where he is the worlds leading expert on African Painted Dog survival and I have meat him before and he is just a great guy! ^^
