Is it bad that the contrast on my second monitor is so bad all the black blends together?

I could make the background a different color. I just defaulted black cause it's the easiest and looks the sleekest it's hard though then your character is black :P

Hehe, cuz black is the bestest color, besides orange, but you need the black to make the orange stand out xP

If you feel like it though, i have a 1080p monitor lol so 1920 x 1080
