Experimented with pixel art so this came about.
I have a backstory for Marlow's mask in that a wise shape-shifting Master handed it down to him and teaches him what he needs to know and etc. The Master doesn't have a name yet but his common form is the pictured winged cobra-serpent. Marlow is one of my most favorite characters and is my lil baby boy <3 I think I'll make him my male sona but not sure yet. c:

Also I guess sometimes Marlow can absorb the mask but it places a flame in his eye socket on the side of his face that the mask was..
I need to do a real ref for this guy.. Like with all his info and forms x_x bleh
