Inspired by this picture.
Occasionally I feel really inspired by a photo and have to try to paint it.
I'm happy with this because it helps me break out of the usual sketch to color process. I just get to paint and reference and paint some more. <3

The painting style is beautiful in how it shows the ambient light really well. I also like how the ground looks very much "wet" since the photo reference has it as raining. I like it, and I always enjoy painting styles that can convey an image well in detail with minimizing brush strokes.
