Some more character concepts! I'm very tired, so I didn't spend time designing too much, so edits will be done. I want to add more detail and most likely change the tail.

Not sure, it's why I need to continue designing it a bit. Maybe it's possible that covering it doesn't effect them really, like the water still goes through, maybe it does. I still need to think on it.
