
A click beetle from the lower planes, ambling about the 'Sea of Crystalized Blood' ... or somesuch.
Don't touch the 'berries'. They're prone to burst and I'm not certain what that greenish fluid does, but it's definitely nothing good.

Gah, didn't realize until I was halfway done, that it was 2x the scale of the Celestial Fire Beetle - Oh well, more detail, more nurnies etc.

Yep - actually from most of the photos I gleaned to use as models, there's often only 2 sets of legs on a side visible for some reason. Not sure if its just the length of the animal, or if it tucks two of its legs a lotta times.
With the celestial version, the third pair's also not visible, but in that case, they're behind the wing pointed at the viewer.
