So I tried using my tablet on my Dell. All seemed to be going well at first, but when I tried to use it with GIMP, it wouldn't work at all! I am able to click on the tools I want to use, but when it comes to the actual drawing part, it would not even leave a mark on the canvas.

I then thought to try using the tablet on Microsoft Paint, thinking perhaps a simpler program might work. Well, it DID work, but Paint is a pretty cruddy program, and is quite frustrating to use. When I was drawing this pic, I pretty much gave up trying mere seconds after starting, and instead just wanted to hurry to get it done. By the time I finally finished (probably about 5 minutes) I was frustrated, and had a headache.

So, yeah... I guess there will be no digital art from me until I can get my Toshiba back...
