This is a color pic I got from Viki Sinex, of her character Gaitz, way back in the 90s, when I was involved in the Tai-Pan writer's group.

Gaitz is not any earth animal base- he is an actual intelligent alien species.

Lots of folks loved this one when I showed it off during the one Norwescon I ever attended.
Scanners were not common back in '94, nor were color copiers.
So I was never able to reproduce this for anyone back in the day.

I had completely forgotten it in one of my sketchbooks, and its worth sharing now.
