Oh yes stripes! When doing a striped animal I almost always add in the patterns after I've completely painted the fur. That because I usually prefer to add them in free hand. I often have a couple photos pulled out for easy reference but I never follow these exactly. This layer of the spots is watered down burnt umber and ultramarine blue again. The spots on the face are darker and more defined. Where the fur is longer like the neck and such I do them looser with more individual hair detailing.
