Ok! These aren't the greatest pictures since these were taken at the con. Mono will probably get better front/back/side shots later.
Keep in mind this costume was made to accommodate for someone who has never worn a limited visibility suit before, so it had to have a VERY large seeing area. A balacava was worn, however there was no way to hide their eyes, since they still needed to be able to see on stage and such.
Suit specifics:
Hand made suit liner
Foam was cut and shaped, then glued down to the suit liner so that the suit was just slip-on, with a zipper/velcro in the back.
Back spines are all shaped foam, with LEDs inside. On/off switches on the palms of the suit so the wearer can turn it off and on at will
Back spine panel is completely removable and reattached with velcro
Tail is mat material rounded so hollow, then lined with thin foam for shape
Claws are all made out of foam (our colossal claws)
Body is 1 piece, head is 1 piece, tail is 1 piece, and hands/feet are removable.
Head is mounted on a helmet, with a mechanism that when the wearer looks down, the mouth opens and there is a LED inside to give it a glowing breath attack look
All of the texture on the back/tail is many many pieces of foam cut out and shaped, then glued down
Entire suit was airbrushed for the color
I think that's it? Maybe? I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm wrong on anything. And those texture things sucked. D: Took me 2 nights to cut them all out then I had to glue them all on. My arm hated it. u.u; But she was on a deadline and needed help. :) This costume was featured in a skit at the masquerade at Katsucon with the Mothra (not made by us) and they won Best in Show. :)

What an outstanding looking Godzilla! The owner should try to come down to Orlando for the May-Hem con by Spooky Empire to see two of the original Godzilla cast members. Akira Takarada and Haruo Nakajima who will be guests there. I think that would make for a great photo op.
Well this was a personal project not a commission. ^^; But we may be selling the suit, so hopefully we'll get what it's worth!
And some people see it immediately, some people don't notice at all. I just like to point things out before so that way people know. xD Apparently people were giving them a lot of flack at the convention because of it.

The vision is through the entire neck. We could black it out more, like what we did with the raptor suit: http://monoyasha.deviantart.com/art.....it-1-254975766
There's a possibility we could do something with the vision like what we did for the raptor we made. http://monoyasha.deviantart.com/art.....it-1-254975766
Ah yes, we got your e-mail, however
flurrycat is the one who has to answer it and she hasn't had time to just yet. :)

Amazing work. Would like to have one. Had one in the 80's, made by the local theatre costume dept. looked good, but yours is loads better. Won a prize for mine at a ST con, in the UK, in 83.
For a 'rush' job you did amazing. So too did the guys who made the Godzilla like monster, in the Ikea 'playing with my friends' advert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPbDW_Y72Aw Infact they had several teams working on all the 'toys'. As they were all made in just over two weeks. I know this as I contacted them, about the costume.
Just to let you know I will be visiting Megaplex this year with my own Godzilla suit. Mine will be based on the MireGoji suit and will be a partial for personal reasons. You will likely see me talking to this suiter whom is a great aquaitance/good friend of mine at some point during Megaplex. Pics of my partial will be up sometime mid Summer.
