Circa 2005. This is an altered version of an illustration for a fake album cover I did in my high school Photoshop class. The original version had a dark blue background with no stars and a golden glow around the photographic Earth. The spider (probably the cuddliest spider I've ever drawn) is a version of my character Anansi, with some color changes. Anansi isn't technically supposed to have eyelids, but I took a little artistic license here because I liked how they helped create a relaxed, self-satisfied, slightly sinister expression.
