Circa 2007. Ryan the bird, my former boyfriend's fursona. He's usually a normal, well-adjusted, clean-cut young man, but as a joke, I drew him as an angsty goth/emo stereotype who sits alone in his room and writes mediocre, depressing poetry.

The poem reads:
Alone in the Darkness
The night falls with a silent sigh.
Cold and alone are we.
The light for which you pine flares once,
then dies,
swallowed by the all-encompassing dark.
All hope must die.
Your heart beats no more.
How could you abandon me?
Angels surround us,
crying,
"We are fallen."
