The way they breed dogs to be so deformed, that's fucked up. I simply love animals and I'm fascinated by them even when they die.

Urgh some people just have no respect for others hobbies and interests.

I suppose that OP deemed you 'fucked up' is likely around the thinking that the dog was killed for you, or you support killing domesticated house pets, or something along the lines. Personally, I did get a little ache in my heart seeing it was the skull of a kind of animal we all hold so near and dear, but hell, if you got it humanely then I don't see much an issue there.

I would never kill or order someone to kill an animal for me so I can get its remains. The thought of it alone would make me sick.

I understand that peoples first reaction can be that of shock, but if they think a bit they should know that no sane would such a thing. The fact that I collect dead animals doesn't mean that I would dislike animals. That's like smoking 10 cigarettes a day cause you hate smoking and that wouldn't be as aweful as killing an animal for no good reason.

All the animals I get are animals that died of old age, disease, got hit by a car, were shot by hunters or were ment to be reptile or human food.

Preeach it man, preaaach it. I love animals so dearly, but I still collect parts of passed away animals. The only animals I won't keep parts of are those that mean the most to me, because those parts would just make me think of those animals I have in my life. But fuck yeah for everything else. I just nose around the woods for feathers and bones.

Wow, definitely one I'd want to sit in my collection too if I could - the diversity of canine genetics within domesticated dogs is fascinating and would be fun to have lined up next to one another. :P

Thats one of the dog skulls I really want! His breed is really fucked up, it was once a really really handsome dog! But then it become that... sheep headed... animal. Despite I hate this breed (not the DOG, but the persistance on creating more and more destroyed puppies with more and more healt problems) I really want that... ridiculous, but interesting skull.
