I felt this was quite a break from my usual subjects in my art. Teddy Atkins (the son) is not easily amused by a simple camping trip with his dad. If you look closely at the subtext in this, you'll figure out why he's that way.
On the other hand, the background was a pleasant challenge to do. I didn't think I could make an outline of pine trees like that before.
