Pokemon is supah popular eh :P
And the Muppets have had a video game in the past! I grew up playing the Muppet CD-ROM. In it there was a Swedish Chef mini-game that was a clear DOOM parody where you go through these mazelike kitchen levels and kill giant, sentient food items with cooking implements. it was best.

I was actually in Japan when pokemon came out for the very first time. I knew all 151 at some point and had all kinds of toys and stuff... but I can't stand turn-based video games and my memory's not good enough to keep track of so many billions of pokeymans, haha
I guess to me it's something I outgrew. No beef with it though.
