She is a year old, gonna be 2 years this fall.

They aren't very common in the U.S at all. They are a French breed with currently about 50 of these dogs in the United States. My best friend and her husband breed them. They're trying to get the breed a recognized club in the United States, but that requires a lot of paperwork and money (and translating the paperwork from french to english, english to french. A giant headache).
Dude, like everything we own is from ikea. Plus their food is amazing, so it's like a field trip every time we go.

Awww, bet all that puppy love is really fun! <3 I really am missing having so many pets around, that's the one thing that's been hard for me, moving in with Zel. His parents have their two cats, but they aren't really into playing with me or hanging out with me too much. I grew up with lots of pets in the house, so it's definitely hard to get used to living somewhere without a metric ton of animals!
God, I can imagine that being a headache! :s I took French in highschool for a few years and study a little on my own, it does not an easy language for English speakers. :'D And in almost any language, translating papers back and forth like that is a major pain... But still, I hope they can get the breed recognized here. :> They seem like wonderful dogs, and I just love that fur! It looks super pettable. Ikea is fieldtrips for grownups that need furniture, truly! I can't wait til we go again, I seriously need more of those lingonberry cookies in my life.
