I've been starting to feel a little uncertain working with Leonardo Pereznieto's method of drawing the skeletal structure. As enjoyable as it was to try it, I couldn't seem to draw a body over it (after attempting to do so on my own [no, I will not be showing how that turned out]). So I figured I'd try a base of my own and work from there. It looked good at first, but drawing a body over the structure I laid out wasn't that easy either. That was when I attempted
's style of skeletal structure based on his drawing tutorial in his gallery. It seemed somewhat understandable and manageable; I was comfortable enough to draw simple poses with them for both the male and female structures. Still, any and all help would be much appreciated; I mainly want reassurance that I'm on the right path.
Sticking to one style of drawing isn't enough for me, it seems, so I felt random enough to try out a few artists' styles. Hope you enjoy. Again, I'm willing to improve, so please don't feel bad critiquing me; it's the only way I'll learn.

Hey Leo, I think these links you sent me speak for themselves. I can't look at either of these and arrive at the same conclusion that you've set on yourself. These are great! They demonstrate exactly what they are meant to and that's setting the foundation of an image before dedicate yourself to the details. From what I can see you're at the difficult part where you incorporate your own style on top of the skeleton. You'll hit walls, you have to fight through them and keep working at it. Don't be afraid to be extreme with angles and proportions, it's the best way to find the boundaries.
You really think they're great? Thank you!
I hope that's not a bad thing of me to incorporate my own style on top of the skeleton.
So what you're saying is even if it looks off many times, just keep trying different angles and proportions? And in doing so, it'll be the best way to find out when it's too much?
If that's the case, I could give it another shot!
