I don't think it's pointless in the least bit. In fact I find it romantic. We all take some pleasure in having things 'reserved' for others. We reserve certain behavior, pictures and intimate objects for our significant lovers all the time, and announcing it is like an affirmation to the world that they're special to us. You can't have it, but he can. If anything, this is a message to your lover, "You're special to me." is what its saying. Romantics can be very confusing Kisharra. ;)

God forbid we make comments publicly about the special privileges our lovers have, in a public area. This is the silliest thing to become critical about to be honest. Don't you think so?
