Actually, there was an episode or two that showed the Babies getting into their PJs very early on. Apparently he was the only one who wore a diaper at all! But I guess that makes sense. I can't imagine paper training going well 100% of the time!

I remember Rowlf from his first appearance on network television during "The Jimmy Dean Show." This was from 1963 through 1966. (Bet you never knew Rowlf is 50+ years old!) They had a segment with him almost every week. Fortunately, thanks to YouTube, we can relive some of these excellent segments:

That is so great! I'm rather surprised that the series has not made an official release to blu-ray or dvd. Also, Did you know Dave Coulier performed voices on that show too? Yeah I'm a Henson nut so I know these things.

There was a three-disc DVD box set released a few years ago. Unfortunately, it's currently out-of-stock in a lot of places, But you might find a copy in one of those buy back stores.

yeah he did. He's actually the only Muppet Baby that didn't resemble his adult version at all. Not sure why.

My dad bought me a Muppet Show Rowlf puppet for my 3rd birthday (EGAD! He's going to turn 40 in in two years, next month!) ^!^. He's all beat up, but he's the only one of my plushie from my childhood that I still have. When Muppet Babies came on the air, I watched it diligently, and always kept my eye out for Rowlf! ^!^
