He's got floppy ears and a cold wet nose...
Long before der puppy was around, there was another puppy I was a huge fan of: Baby Rowlf from the Muppet Babies! I LOVED Muppet Babies when I was younger, and used to draw them a lot when I was a puppy.
I wanted to see if I could still draw them...and I'd say that's a HUGE 10-4! :D

I remember Rowlf from his first appearance on network television during "The Jimmy Dean Show." This was from 1963 through 1966. (Bet you never knew Rowlf is 50+ years old!) They had a segment with him almost every week. Fortunately, thanks to YouTube, we can relive some of these excellent segments:

I love Rowlf! He was always my favorite as a child too, besides Gonzo. I just got Fraggle Rock and Muppet Show dvd sets, just need to get Muppet Babies now! :D
I remember Muppet Babies often would be paired with Pee Wee Herman on tv, along with this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vI0UcUxzrQ

I love it!
My dad bought me a Muppet Show Rowlf puppet for my 3rd birthday (EGAD! He's going to turn 40 in in two years, next month!) ^!^. He's all beat up, but he's the only one of my plushie from my childhood that I still have. When Muppet Babies came on the air, I watched it diligently, and always kept my eye out for Rowlf! ^!^
. . Wait! "10-4?!!!" That's Citizen's Band for "Yes." Were you alive during the 70's too?!? O!o
