You know, maybe if he got a couple of really thick blankets and piled them on the couch on top of him, he might have gotten away with it. But throwing a blanket over yourself and pretending to be the area rug... that is going to get you eaten by a massive biguana lizard.

Were it me facing that lizard, the blanket would be a wrapper to make me look more appealing! To be swallowed alive, and get to experience that long neck before being deposited in his stomach would fulfill almost every vore fantasy I have!

Alternate comment (Which I decided against on when posting earlier) was:
"No one will find him inside that Biguana's belly, and in a few hours - no one ever will!"
Came off sounding too 'Fatal-vore'-y for my liking, which is technically what happens in most of your vore-city stuff (Sans a few exceptions, and the "clones" depending on how one looks at it), but it would sound mighty odd coming from me x'D
