Griffins -- front half eagle, back half lion, right? But not always. Sometimes we mix it up a bit.
This guy, for example. (I'm using male by default, there isn't really any way to tell from the picture.) His front half is that of an owl, while his back half is that of a mouse. Owl-mouse... owse. I wonder if he makes himself hungry?
