Andrew winced slightly as he sat upright, his caretaker gently wrapping his fractured skull in a bandage. It had been weeks since Zaryn had found Andrew in the desert, and mere days since the wayward human regained consciousness. Several minutes passed before the Shurian matriarch spoke aloud
“I saw into your mind, I saw what brought you here, or rather whom. Is there any chance it could follow you?”
Andrew shook his head, “it is unlikely matriarch, both of us were so intent on extinguishing the other we failed to notice the holes we rent in the fabric of reality.”
Andrew paused “but if he were here, he would be in worse shape than I.” The matriarch tilted her head to the side recalling the visions she saw while peering through Andrews mind, she saw him and his unnamed opponent, a man swathed in shadows hurling the raw stuff of creation at each other as the earth buckled and screamed beneath them. She saw Andrew sprout a dozen pairs of wings made of light and dive into his opponent sending both of them hurtling into the earth’s molten core. She saw many things in the human’s mind and wasn't sure if he was delusional or not.
Certainly he had numerous brain injuries when she found him along with several skull fractures, surely if he did such things as seen in the visions he wouldn't still be alive. Zaryn above all else was a practical woman and, not being certain if the visions were real or the result of the human’s head trauma continued her questions
“So this man you were facing.”
Andrew looked up at her, “if I may paraphrase from the hidden testament of Moses ‘he came out of the wilderness a dark man who spoke with authority and though his words were black even the wisest were swayed.’ The Unkempt Paladin looked down
“he is someone who wishes to return my world to its original horrid state, a world that thrived on the exploitation of others for the benefit of a few, that sought the comfort of lies instead of the truth, and that celebrated wicked men and all their machinations.”
The human broadcast his disgust with such fervor that Zaryn was bombarded with imagery associated with his condemnations, she saw emaciated maggot ridden children rotting in mass graves, starving families working past the point of exhaustion for next to nothing in return, and she saw demagogues and sycophants spew venom and malice directed at those same families to eager crowds of frightened and insular peoples. Andrew sensed Zaryn’s unease
“my apologies matriarch, I did not mean for you to have to endure my trials and failures.”
The matriarch smiled and gently touched Andrew’s shoulder “it is alright human, I just was caught off guard normally your kind aren't as….loud.” The pair was interrupted as a tall slender worker caste shurian brought medical supplies to Zaryn. The matriarch once again smiled
“thank you drayk.” Once more the lady of the house returned to tending Andrew’s various wounds
“I must insist you stay until your injuries have healed Andrew.
” The Templar nodded in assent “as you wish m’lady though I must insist on repaying the kindness of your tribe somehow.”
As Zaryn continued to bind Andrews various bone fractures, dislocations, and other assorted injuries she couldn't help but think of the dark man. When she peered into Andrew’s mind she couldn't help but feel as though the entity was looking back at her, assessing her, and above all else despite it having no face, smiling…
This was fun and unexpected. many thanks to Gurlow from wanting to include my Mak'tah Zaryn in a piece with his clumsy but vigilant Human Andrew! I look forward to doing more stuff with Zaryn in the future, I just have to get off me bum!

Well, you see, thats the beautiful thing about Buster (or rather, Fantasy-Buster, because goddammit I have so many slightly altered versions of him, one for a near scifi setting, one for fantasy etc.).
He traverses dimensions, or rather multiverses. Normally people in fiction that have the power to traverse time and space and dimensions can only do so in a finite multiverse, like say, DC superheroes can only jump across universes that are owned by DC or such. Buster can jump from one Multiverse to another. He could be in the Magic the Gathering one, then jump to some universe I or my friends made up, then jump to the Dr. Who verse or some shit.
Yes, it sounds quite ridiculous, but I made this character when I was 16 or so, so shuddup. :V
Anyway, that explains why he could show up on Drayk's verse, even though that universe doesn't normally contains winged furries. And it would still make very much sense.
