This is a couple of my characters from a side-story I'm supposed to be writing and have currently ignored. Aren't I awesome?

These are two members of the Ambu Tribe of Masbi. The lion on the right is Yahya, the older brother of the main character and the fellow on the left is named Manu. Yahya has passed his manhood trial and obtained the tooth of an Espadadon, or Knifetooth, for the end of his spear. Manu hasn't, but is trying to prove that you don't -need- to pass the trial to be a good warrior.

He's failing.

And I know, my anatomy is off. It started out as a quick sketch to practice plantigrade feet and went too far. Fail.
