Omygosh!
I just had WAY way too much fun trying this new coloring style!!
Last night I tired to make an icon of Radio in this style, and was tired and messed up a bit D: But in the morn' I decided to try my luck again!
And YAY! I'm so happy with the turnout!
Haha I just wanted an icon really, and I was really really inspired by Kalamu's art - http://kalamu.deviantart.com/
The no outline, painterly style just looks so colorful and free, I couldn't resist! The only program I have after SAI paint's trial was up was Open Canvas, but I heart it anyway <3
And change is good! Always try diffrent things!
I may take these as trade/commish, we'll see! Really fun expeariment :D

Hee-Hee, I feel like I could run my hand inside the screen to pet and cuddle you like my cats.
Serious, I have to agree with everyone else. It looks like those old style masterpice-of-art paintings, like something from cicra 18th cenutry to the early 20th. Such a shame no one draws and paints like that in our museums and such as anymore. The detail is rich and very near, soft-touched realistic and vibrant colors. I love the georgous hair with its indiviual strains standing out, yet being within the same color like real hair. The eyes are also real like with their warm blue irises and the light reflecting in them.
