personally, i think the scarf would have detracted from the overall pic. to me the focus is the expression and the pose (i realize that sounds exceedingly...stupid... but the two come together in such a way as to draw the eye, and a scarf would have completely thrown that off)
It's so great, Caasi1 =D I'm having so much fun with the things I'm able to do now. *u* Man I'd love to color and shade like you though. I've been looking at your art again, now that I have an understanding of how it works, and I still cant wrap my head around how you get such a fantastic level of detail. xD

dunno. like if you wanna try something like i do , try having a paint-like process, working as much as you can on as few layers as possible, like having your lines layer and then pouring a bunch of color there and working from there XD besides of that im pretty sure its just tons of time of practice and learning to decide whats important to show and what isnt
