This was Whiskers. She was my little kitty. She had a cute little stub for a tail and the prettiest eyes. She was always incredibly well behaved - she held still when she had the mats shaved out of her fur, for every conceivable part of a checkup, and just generally got along with everyone.

She brought me 19 long years of happiness during the dark times. I just wish I could have been there for her at the end, but that wasn't really possible anyway, I suppose, all the way down in Florida. I'm just glad she didn't suffer from pain in her old age during the last days.

I don't know what to say, really... I loved her so much.
