This soft sculpture has a machine stitched body stuffed with steel shot and polyester. His feet are cast resin from an original sculpt, and his wings are cast resin with articulated joints, meaning they can open and close. He has rubber gunge on his wings to make them look and feel realistic, and real crow feathers.
His skull is sculpted from Super Sculpey and painted with acrylics, and has a jointed beak, so it can open and close. In his eyes are two little candles, which glow red in the dark.
This commission measures approximately 6” tall and took 20 days of on and off work to finish.
