I decided to title the image this because me and my
grandpa always called the movie "get your ass to mars"
as a joke. It just kinda stuck.
this also goes with a conversation I had not to long ago
about one of the greatest fantasies a person can seem to
have is an escape from the ego.
either recreating yourself or completely letting the self go.
my technology and backgrounds don't seem to be the best
but I'm still practicing, I could've put more time on this image
but I don't think it would've been necessary, so it was
really just a long work for practice.
hope you guys dig this.

If there ever was any virtual reality company like in the film (which it pretty much is in the film, because he doesn't just suddenly "remember" things, but instead things start happening all around him), I'd probably spend about 80-90% of my time inside the matrix with sexual debauchery.
Just look at places like FA, where people can be who and what they want to be in total anonymity, and most of them use it for porn. A whole lotta porn. Not saying that's a bad thing, but I wouldn't dismiss it happening also with complete virtual reality. At the end of the day, people can be pretty simply (with lots of diversity between people in the details, to be sure), and things only get complicated when they are not allowed to fulfill their simple needs. It even happens in the film where they survey him pretty primitively as to what he's into ("Straight, gay? What's your type?").

oh yea, I totally agree,
however he has memories at the start of the movie,
but again, that's why it's such a good movie, there is no right answer
and there is no wrong answer, it's all a matter of how he perceives it
and what direction does he want to go.
and as for sexual Debauchery,
I always had the same thoughts about the Holodeck on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

but that's what was cool,
is this movie was not meant for Arnold,
and yet...there he is.
he was originally suppose to be an out of shape
regular guy, and they even padded him with a pot
belly originally before they decided "nope, that isn't working"
it's a hard photo to find on Google apparently,
but it is on the special edition DVD.

I've recently seen the original RoboCop (1987), and it's hard to believe that that was actually by the same guy as Get your ass to Mars. The scripts are just so different, and the latter is much more of a simple action flick, RoboCop only appears to be one on the surface while it's actually a potent satire akin to Brazil that came out only two years earlier.
