Wardog
With the death of Fox Arès, Bothan sadly knows that she will not defend the Haut-Val just by herself. Thousand of years ago, just before she goes to an artificial sleep, she destroyed all the automatical defenses - like gatlings - and the powerful Abaddon. Now she has to repair all of them, or she will lose the future battles.
Mutants were way too numerous now that the weapons are out. Bothan so hates that kind of monster. Wardog. Or Earthworm, whatever. A kind of dragon without wings created by the Dogma for the Ancient War. A pure creation to make war. Like her in fact.
She couldn't help but to think. What would have be the fate of Fox Arès if she hadn't made that mistake to unleash a Wivern a year ago? He wouldn't have shown his powers publically, he wouldn't have been the focus of all attacks, and finally... He wouldn't have died...
All were her fault...
Two wardogs, in the same place. That's what she currently thinks... She hates mutants, it reminds her that awful mistake which condamned her lover. She so hates herself for that...
I'm working in a weird factory. I don't specially have work, I just wait most of the time. So I draw between those periods. Even using a desk to. I don't think I have to complain about, isn't it?
Should I add some old and dried blood splachs on the walls, as remains of some previous battles?

It's a hard question to answer... I should show you a video about that. Well, it's all about the turn she will do just after that, to accelerate the top of the whip blade up to the sonic barier, using all the razor sides in the same move.
Have a look there Ivy does it for example at 1'10.

awesome colouring now. the scape looks devastated, ready to collapse in places, and it probably will whe the battle ensues.
what looked great as sketch now looks awesome. I am not sure if bloody splots on the wall would add to it; maybe you could try them out digitally? I have the suspicion, however, that the Wivern would have licked them up, leaving yellowed spots on the concrete. a being that big must eat something, and small game, or whatever is stupid enough to venture into the abandoned building wouldn't be enough.

I still can't get over what a great design you gave that dragon. The tines/spikes on it are such a cool feature. Bothan looks just as good as ever to, oh, and nice choice of colors for her clothing :P
Kudos should also be given for your attention given to the wreckage of the broken industrial surroundings.

I tagged it dragon, but what is a dragon without wings? So yes, the design is a bit special compared to the others dragons ^^
The industrial surroundings is a remind of what the complex was centuries ago, and are quite important in the story. I suppose I so love Half-Life to draw that XD

The detail in this piece is absolutely amazing! I love the fine scale work in the Wardog along with the contrasting larger plates. It is one of those creatures that looks like it has the ability to blend well into its surroundings, especially natural ones. I love the perspective that you have the Wardog's head drawn in, it really shows the power and full extent of its jaw structure. Nice job on the musculature as well.
I love Bothan's posing and the detail and textures that you have captured in both her fur textures and the armor that she is wearing. I absolutely love that weapon of hers and the small details in her face such as the wrinkles of her brow, and the soft detailing of her teeth.
The composition is a lot of fun, I really enjoy how both Bothan and part of the Wardog break the frame I think that creates a nice draw into the piece. You have an amazing talent with watercolor!
